Submissions welcome.

James Langford in Washington Co. AL in 1831 and 39.

Documents located and transcribed by Poldi Tonin:

One of the earliest two is sale of a slave named Harriet age 13 to Samuel Frisbie.

In the other document James Langford bought from Samuel Frisbie a male slave named Abram aged 40-45. The later document is one in which James Langford was a witness to a transaction between Beloved L. Turner and James Slater and John Bladen. Poor copy as much of it is missing but also includes the name of Abner Turner. The other witness was Austin E. Ledyard.
