My mother was part cherokee and part Creek and my father also. My
mother and my father drew strip money. They are dead. My grandmother drew
Cherokee strip money. She died about a year ago. I do not think she
made application for this money. My mother lived at Vian, Cherokee Nation.
My father was named George Tecumseh and my mother was named Dar-ke
Tecumseh."
