2007 SOUTHEAST REGIONAL CLOUD FAMILY GATHERING

Everyone interested in Cloud history and genealogy in the southeastern states/colonies is invited to attend the Southeast Regional Cloud Family Gathering to be held July 20-22, 2007, near Atlanta.  We will undertake research at both the Georgia State Archives and the Southeast Regional National Archives. Both facilities are located in Morrow, GA, on the southern outskirts of Atlanta, and both facilities will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

We will meet 1) for lunch and introductions Friday at the Georgia Archives, 2) at 8:30 Saturday morning for a tour of the Georgia Archives, and 3) for lunch Saturday. Those interested will get together somewhere for dinner (Dutch treat) both evenings. Sunday will be a good day for sightseeing as the archives are closed. A registration fee of $20 per person will cover the two lunches (pizza on Friday) and snack foods available throughout the day.

Rooms are being held at the Country Inn & Suites located at 2192 Mount Zion Parkway, Morrow, GA 30260, (770) 603-3232. Rooms are $89 a night, breakfast included. This hotel is one exit down I-75 from the archives, and restaurants are readily available.
