Boyd Reunion in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, 2001
The Boyd Family Reunion will
take place August 3 - August 5th 2001 at
Cribbons Point, Antigonish,
Nova Scotia. This is in celebration of 200 years
since our ancestors arrived
from Scotland.
It is opened to the Family
of Angus R Boyd and Cassie MacGilvery Boyd
of Cribbons Point, N.S.

We are anticipating over 600
family members. Angus and Cassie had 15
children, none of who are
still alive now. They will be represented by their
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren
and yes great-great-grandchildren.
Each of Angus and Cassies
children's families will be able to be identified by
colored shirts, which goes
as: Ronald - Pink, Hughie - Dark Green, Katie -
Orange, Betty - White, Andrew
- Aqua, Danny Angus - Red, Jack - Blue,
Doug - Mauve, Anna - Brown,
Shaw - Black, Alex - Royal Blue, Mary - Wine,
Al - Gold, Minnie -
Rose, Fred - Yellow. Family members will also have
name tags and a ribbon to
match color code.
It all kicks off with
a Golf Tournament Friday Aug 3rd, Official
Registration, Tent Opens Saturday
Morning, with activities to be planned
(horse shoe tournament, fishing
derby, children's games) Dinner Dance
Saturday Evening.
We will be building a Stone
Cairn with plaque to commemorate this
Anniversary at the Old Homestead.
Family members will be traveling
from all points of the Globe, Canada, US,
Asia, Europe, Scotland, Australia
and the Carribean. It will be a time
worth remembering.
