Practiced instruction in the drawing of flowers, plants and
animals.
Natural History
Nature reading along with a nature notebook. Children begin to
make experiements. Books such as Fairyland of Science explain the
nature of scientific observation.
Arithmetic
Arithmetic to mental drills (10 minutes each day). Continued work
with timestables and Geometry.
Handcrafts
Work or gardening, modeling with clay, needlework

Swedish Drill or calesthenics (PE)
Sol-fa
Singing practice and songs in French and English

Map work and learning about places
