My 7-great-grandfather, Cpt. Moses SUTTON, settled in Lyme Twp., Huron Co., OH in 1814 with his wife Susannah and sons Philip, Isaac, Levi, and Moses Jr. Their tract, their first settlement at Hunt's Corners, was known as the "SUTTON Settlement."

WHITE, TAYLOR, BARRE - I am a Taylor descendant hoping to connect with a branch of our family. Nancy TAYLOR married John C. WHITE in 1840. She was born probably Beaver Co, PA, grew up after mid 1820's in Richland Co, OH, daughter of Thomas TAYLOR. John C. WHITE came to Richland Co, OH with father Jonathon WHITE in 1829. John C. and Nancy (TAYLOR) WHITE moved to Huron County after 1840 and had J. S. WHITE in 1844. Civil war veteran in 166th O.V.I., farmer in Ripley Township, and Huron County Auditor in late 1880's and early 1890's. He married Marietta E. BARRE in 1869, and they had James Edgar, Blanche, and John Gaylord.

I am looking for information on Burton and Bertha RAVER, born near Norwalk in 1880. They were twins. They also had a brother Carl RAVER. Any information would be appreciated. Burton moved to Bradford, PA and Carl moved eventually to WV. Bertha married David JEFFERSON and lived her entire life near Norwalk. Thanks.
