A little chunk of heaven fell from
the skies one day;
The angels couldn't mend it, so they
just let it lay;
For years they filled it up with
forest, then added lakes and streams;
They gave the land a special people
and gave them all a dream;
And someday if the rest of the
world gets even a mite lucky,
They too can live in heaven; It's
now called Kentucky.
