Brobst Reunion 1998From the Spring 1998 Issue, Brobst Genealogy News Hello to all you Brobst Descendants! BE THERE! Schedule Exhibits from 9:00 am Menu Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner: ham, chicken, veggies, pie Reservations required! Dinner will be limited to first 150 people. Cut-off date for reservations is May 23, and there can be no return of money if you cancel. Send check (no cash, credit) to Reunion Committee Meeting Minutes The Brobst Reunion Committee met March 12, at the home of Kerwin and Janet Wetzel. In attendance: Frank and Florence Metzger, Dean and Dorothy Cunfer, Kerwin and Janet Wetzel. Forrest and Carolyn Price could not attend. Several areas were covered. Rev. Carl Cunfer will be asked to give the prayer, and Bill Brobst will be asked to be the MC. So far, we have about 40 reservations (now over 60-pkp). Seating capacity for dinner is 150. If by chance we exceed that number, we'll send the money back, invite them to come after the meal is finished, enjoy the entertainment, the meeting and the snack. We will charge $5.00 for those who come after the luncheon. Paula Pennington will be making name tags for those who are registered. A bank account has been started to hold the money. If the reunion generates a profit, we will keep the money for the next Brobst reunion. OTHER REUNION NOTES Bill Brobst will have his laptop computer with the Brobst registry on it at the reunion for those who would like to dig into it! Directions to the New Tripoli Fire Company: From Allentown: Go WEST on Rt 22 (or Tilghman Street) to Folgesville From the North: South on Rt 309 to Rt 143.
