The ministers of First Ballybay Presbyterian Church since its formation were:[1] Humphrey Thompson, 1698; Alexander Wadsworth, 1744; James Jackson, 1750; John Arnold, 1782; James Morell, 1799; William Gibson, 1834; Joseph Crawford, 1842; John Moran, 1846; John Gordon Smythe, 1847; James F. Graham, 1890. 

The Session Book of the First Presbyterian Congregation of Ballybay is in the Library of the Presbyterian Historical Society, Church House, Fisherwick Place, Belfast, Northern Ireland. 

William Breakey of Ballidian is listed as an Elder and a member of the Session for the years 1836 and 1837.
