Their lineage is outlined in A Standard History of Fulton Co Ohio, 1920, by Frank H. Reighard researched by Norris Taylor, Lineage Three. Thomas had a son Holloway H. Beatty who came to Chesterfield Ohio in 1845 with his family according to Reighard. Holloway m-Elizabeth Jefferson and they raised the following family in Chesterfield: Margaret; Nancy; Samuel; Sidney S.; Julia b-abt 1840 m-Gates;Majala, Jane, Whitfield, and George. Sidney S. m-Elizabeth Welch in 1859 and had issue: Albert, Clarence; Elias "Chuck" b-1866; Elizer Bidwell"Puny" b-1866. Clarence m-Viola Lester and had issue: Dawn, Margaret m-Deittle; Carrie, and Whitfield-served WWI; Elias "Chuck" m-Melinda Feruson and had issue: Lira, Lena, Sidney S, and Letha. All Chesterfield area of Ohio. Research problem/question: The 1860 Census says Holloway was born in VA in 1804....this conflicts with the information that his father was a British soldier in the War of 1812 and remained in the U.S. afterwards.
