The progenitor of this lineage is Jacob Lam. His son ALVA ANDERSON LAM (JACOB) was born June 16, 1802 in Surry Co., NC, and died August 10, 1856 in Lebanon, LaClede Co., MO. He married SARAH JANE GRAHAM 1827 in Lebanon, Laclede Co., MO, daughter of JOHN GRAHAM and MARY PENNINGTON. She was born 1807 in Surry Co., NC, and died March 12, 1888 in Lebanon, LaClede Co., MO.
Alva's son JOHN ISBELL LAMB (ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born December 06, 1830 in Princeton, Jackson Co., AL, and died October 02, 1927 in Gatesville, Coryell Co. TX. He married (1) KATHERINE FRANKS. He married (2) REBECCA GOTAAS. He married (3) MARY BLANCHARD. He married (4) ANN ELIZA O'KEEFFE December 30, 1849 in Prentice, Morgan Co., IL, daughter of HUGH O'KEEFFE and MARY MORGAN. She was born July 20, 1827 in Oldham, Oldham Co., KY, and died April 15, 1889 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX.

She married OZIAS DENTON GRAHAM, JR. July 10, 1883 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, son of OZIAS GRAHAM and MARTHA THORNTON. He was born July 10, 1863 in Henson Creek, Coryell Co., TX, and died June 10, 1923 in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CA.
MARQUIS LAFAYETTE LAM (JOHN ISBELL LAMB, ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born December 06, 1850 in Cass Co., IL, and died June 06, 1899 in Oglesby, Coryell Co., TX. He married (1) JOSEPHINE A. KOONCE September 11, 1867. She died 1868. He married (2) AMERICA ANN ROGERS July 03, 1870 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, daughter of MILTON RODGERS and NANCY ARROWOOD. She was born July 15, 1853 in TX, and died September 21, 1927 in Waco, McClennon Co., TX.

JOHN ISBELL LAMB, JR. (MARQUIS LAFAYETTE LAM, JOHN ISBELL LAMB, ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born June 02, 1873 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, and died November 02, 1942 in Austin, Travis Co., TX. He married CORDELIA FRANCES BEATY DRAPER January 16, 1894 in Fort Gates, near Mound, Coryell Co., TX, daughter of JOSEPH DRAPER and SARAH BEATY. She was born October 17, 1875 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, and died January 16, 1916 in Gatesville, Coryell Co., TX.
ANNIE LAMB (MARQUIS LAFAYETTE LAM, JOHN ISBELL LAMB, ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born August 27, 1876 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, and died July 14, 1899 in Oglesby, Coryell Co., TX. She married CHARLEY THOMAS BEATY May 26, 1895, son of JONATHAN BEATY and MARTHA JEANES. He was born June 03, 1875 in Coryell Co., TX, and died April 19, 1959 in Manhattan Beach, CA.
FRANK BENSON LAM (MARQUIS LAFAYETTE, JOHN ISBELL LAMB, ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born September 20, 1879 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, and died December 1976. He married JULIA TERESA HAMPTON January 05, 1908 in Gatesville, Coryell Co., TX, daughter of RILEY HAMPTON and JULIA WILLIAMSON. She was born May 27, 1883 in King, near Gatesville, Coryell Co., TX, and died October 18, 1976.
VIOLA LAMB (MARQUIS LAFAYETTE LAM, JOHN ISBELL LAMB, ALVA ANDERSON LAM, JACOB) was born February 23, 1875 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, and died July 09, 1952 in Temple, Bell Co., TX. She married GEORGE I. DRAPER November 01, 1893 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX, son of JOSEPH DRAPER and SARAH BEATY. He was born October 19, 1872 in Eagle Springs, Coryell Co., TX, and died December 29, 1935 in Mound, Coryell Co., TX.
