Descendants of Margaret Catherine LANE of Ireland

1- Margaret (Margarit, Margarite) Catherine LANE, b. (baptised) April 27, 1862 to Connor (Conor) LANE and Mary HIGGINS in Moylough/Mountbellew, Co. Galway in Ireland. She had brothers & sisters:

7. John b. ca 1870.

1- Margaret immigrated at about 19, or in 1881 (no record found in Kirbys), and went to work for a cousin in Holy Oke, Wisc. to pay for passage. She moved to Montana (where a great number of cousins were located in the Gallatin County area). She married James M. Donahue on March 03, 1896 in Bozeman, Montana and died on March 24, 1947 in Three Forks, Montana. They had three children:

10. James Cornelius b. August 05, 1902.

10- James married Alma Jane (Jane Marie) Albrecht, b. March 13, 1903, on November 27, 1937. They had five children:
