LANE, Barney
Born about 1818 Kentucky. Married Mary Jane Crostic (from VA). I need any
information on his parents or siblings. He had several children: Benjamin F. Lane,
William Lane, Mary E. Lane, Gideon B. Lane. His children were born in TN but he died in
KY.

LANE, Samuel
LANE, SAMUEL s/o Richard and Catherine (GROOM) LANE. Samuel was b. abt. 1783
of Baltimore Co MD, d. 1818 Muskingum Co OH. I am looking for his first wife.
They were married about 1805 in Huntingdon Co PA. Their children were Sarah
b. abt. 1806, Catherine b. abt. 1808, Ureth b. abt. 1811. This first wife
died, but I don't know if she died in Huntingdon Co PA or Muskingum Co OH.
Samuel moved to Muskingum Co OH about 1810. On 23 Oct 1814 he married
Elizabeth WILLIAMS in Muskingum Co OH. I believe Elizabeth was the mother of
my ancestor Richard Samuel Lane.

Searching for the death date and place for John LANE and his wife Elizabeth STREET. John was the son of Jesse LANE and Winifred AYCOCK, he was born in NC abt. 1768 and md. Elizabeth STREET daughter of Col. James STREET in 1798 in NC. They left NC and went to Henderson Co., KY abt. 1804. Abt 1816/17 they went to Vanderburgh Co., IN where they died. Jordan Lane was born 1790 in Virginia. He may also have been related to the Robertson & Simpson families of Amherst Co. Va.
He was in Tenn in 1810 when his son was born. 1822 he was in Knox Co. Tenn, in 1830 he was in Roane Co. Tenn. In 1840 he was in Pulaski Co. Mo.
In 1850 he was in the neighboring Co. of Laclede Co. Mo.
Some...guess that he is a member of the Amherst Co. VA. family. His wife, Frankey died abt 1845 buried in LaClede Co. Mo. He m/2 Mrs. Lucinda Yates.
