4.         Thomas Bloxsom b. abt 1803, Mountshannon Parish, Co. Galway, Ireland, Occ: Weaver, m. 1834, in Killaloe Diocese, Co. Clare, IR,[i] Fanny Page Dugard, d. 1850, at sea on the 'Emmigrant' outside AUS.[ii]  Thomas died 1882, Queensland, Australia.[iii]  Travelled to Australia on the 'Emmigrant' abt 1850. [Src: David Hutcheson] In 1833,Thomas had under 1 acre of land in the Mountshannon Parish. Ship was quarantined at Dunwich, Qld., for abt 6 months due to typhoid fever. 5.         Jane Bloxsom b. abt 1811, Mountshannon Parish, Co. Galway, Ireland, m. 1826, in Ireland,[vii] James Gunning, d. 1859, Victoria, Australia.[viii]  Jane died 1901, Victoria, Australia.[ix]  Emigrated to New South Wales, AUS, aboard the "Lady Elgin" in 1854, sponsored by dau Catherine, who came out in 1852 abrd the "Joseph Somes."                              i        Anne Gunning m. by 1845, in Ireland,[x] James Rooney.  Anne died New Zealand.  David Hutcheson's notes show a child Maria Rooney, b.c. Nov 18 1855, but "the father's name looks more like Thomas Ronan."

Feb 04 1872, Marlbank,Hungerford Twp.,Hastings Co.,ON,[xiv] Buried: Ch of Christ, (Anglican) Tamworth, L&A Co., ON, m. (2) Jun 30 1880, in Napanee, L&N Co.ON,at the Campbell House,[xv] Mary Hough Harrison (widow)., b. 1818, S. Fredericksburgh, (ON),[xvi] (daughter of Martin Hough and Isabella Bell) d. Aug 27 1896, Marlbank,Hungerford Twp.,Hastings Co.,ON, Buried: Ch of Christ, Tamworth, Sheffield Twp., L&A Co., ON.[xvii]  William died Apr 03 1895, Brantford, Brant Co.,ON,[xviii] Buried: Ch of Christ, (Anglican) Tamworth, L&A Co., ON.[xix]  William owned land in Hungerford Twp, Hastings Co. ON Canada in 1865 (100 acre s) and 1868 (46 acres), both parcels sold to George Young Jr. (Sarah Ann's hus band) Sep 01 1892. Land: 3rd Concession, S 1/2 lot 36; SW 1/4 lot 37. 1861ON Census shows William & family living in 1-story log house. On William and Mary 's tombstone, last name is spelled BLOXOM. On Ann(e)'s tombstone, last name is spelled BLOCKSOM. Document from the National Archives of Canada shows William Blosom [sic], wife and one child traveling in company with George Young, wife and five children and baggage, on July 22, 1846 from Kingston to Napanee Mills for two Pounds; paid by A. B. Hawke, Emigrant Agent, for these "indigent emigrants." [RG#19, Vol 2532, File#22, Pg#1016, Dept. of Finance, Emigration Service Fund-1846] Anne: Thomas Bloxsom's death certificate lists his mother's maiden name as 'Gunner.'  Griffith's Land Valuation (1847-65) and Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) list  Gunnings in Cos. Clare, Galway and Leitrim.  In Leitrim Barony, Inishcaltra Parish, the names of Bloxham, Gunning and Winters all are listed.

7.         Edmund Bloxsom b. Mountshannon Parish, Co. Galway, Ireland,[xxi] m. 1838, in Killaloe Diocese, Co. Clare, IR,[xxii] Harriet (Honora) Aimes, b. abt 1815, Ireland,[xxiii] d. Jan 06 1868, Tunbridge, Orange Co., VT.[xxiv]  Edmund died bef 1857, Ireland.  Edmund apparently did not emmigrate from Ireland to Canada or US. May have died before Honora emmigrated. 1860 Census for Weathersfield, VT, shows Hannah (Honora) and Letitia, Jane, Mary, Edward and John, but no Edmund. Harriet: 1857 Ontario Directory shows a Mrs. H. Bloxom, widow, Toronto, on King Street East near Berkeley Street.
