Abner R. McIntyre and Mary Henney

Abner R. McIntyre was born c. 1785-90, based on his age in the 1810 and 1830 census records. [1] ; his wife Mary was born in 1780-1800. [1] Both were born in New York state. [2]

During the War of 1812, Abner served as a private in the 2nd Regiment of the New York Militia. [3]

In 1820 Abner and his family were residing in the town of Ontario in Ontario County, NY. In addition to the parents, the family including two boys and one girl under the age of 10 and two more boys and one girl aged 10-15 (One of the boys would be son Nelson). Three members of the household were engaged in agriculture. [4]

In 1830 they were living in Elbridge, Onondaga Co. NY. Besides themselves and Nelson, they had living with them one boy under the age of five, two males aged 15-20 (again, one of these boys would be Nelson), and one girl aged 10-14. [5]

Abner McIntyre and his wife Mary had the following child:
 

Nelson McIntire was born in Onondaga Co. New York on 1 November 1810. [6]
