Middlesex Co., VA. No page numbers in Book. Wife, Mary and all children listed
on this sheet are included in will. I have copy of will and inventory but found
no estate settlement when I was at the Archives in Richmond, VA. Info also
from letters and charts of Ellis O. Moore and Christ Church Parish Records in
Middlesex Co., VA.

WIFE: MARY ??

We have not been able to prove that the Mary who was the widow of Hezekiah
Ellis is the one that married John Bentley but it seems to fit in the time
period and locations. Suggestions appreciated.

This marriage is listed as Mary Eeles in the Church Records - we think it is
for this Mary as it is the right time period and place. The name
of Maceras is also found as Maderas, etc. Information Appreciated.

Bond 4 August 1766. Pgs 261-262 show Inventory & Appraisement __ October 1766.
His wife and all children listed in his will. Three daus. are listed in his will as married:
Mary Proctor, Elizabeth Hawkins and Ann O'Neal. Info from notes of Paul E. Shipp,
