She married twice. She married Joseph Allen Fortier 31 Dec 1889. (Joseph Allen Fortier is #8.) Joseph was born in Prescott, Grenville, Ontario, Can 30 Apr 1866. Joseph was the son of Francis Xavier Fortier and Barbara Ellen Larose. Joseph died 26 Aug 1912 in New York, New York, Usa, at 46 years of age. He was christened in Prescott, Grenville, Ontario, Can, 6 May 1866. She married an unknown person in New York, New York, 31 Dec 1889. Died of tuberculosis. Buried Ferncliff Cemetery, Westchester Co. NY, per Ruth Mackay Hamilton. Ruth Macaky Hamilton Jun 1996 said her name was "Ella Mae Dunham", but Edward Mackay 16 Jun 1996 says "Ella May Barnes". Mary Alice Mackay 28 Jun 1996 letter says "Ella May Dunham" and gives b. 17 Jan 1867 d. 23 Jun 1910. (No sources cited in extensive Dunham descendancy chart.
