Sarah Bartlett
(1783-?)

1. Sarah BARTLETT, seventh daughter and eighth child of Nicholas BARTLETT and Mary MARTIN,^1,2 was born in 1783 in Maryland.³ She married David PEARCE on 23 Mar 1808 in Blount County, Tennessee.⁴ She died in 1858 in McMinn County, Tennessee, at about age 50.⁵

David PEARCE was born on 10 Aug 1783 in Virginia.⁶ He died on 25 Feb 1885 in Athens, McMinn County, Tennessee, at age 101.⁷

Children of Sarah BARTLETT and David PEARCE were:

• 2. i. Jesse PEARCE^8,9 was born in 1810.¹⁰
• 3. ii. Mary Ann PEARCE^11,12 was born in 1812.¹³ She married _____ MCCASLAND.¹⁴ They owned land in Blount County, Tennessee and may have remained there. She was still living in September 1858, when she was named administratrix of the will of a brother, Daniel PEARCE.¹⁵
• 4. iii. James Bartlett PEARCE^16,17,18,19 was born on 25 Feb 1813.²⁰
• + 5. iv. Daniel PEARCE, born 1814; married Barbara BARRETT.
• 6. v. Louisa Evaline PEARCE^21,22 was born in 1815.²³ She married Joseph R. RUTHERFORD on 17 Apr 1850.²⁴
• 7. vi. Lucinda PEARCE^25,26 was born in 1817.²⁷

Second Generation

5. Daniel PEARCE (Sarah BARTLETT)^28,29 was born in 1814.³⁰ He married Barbara BARRETT on 14 Apr 1842.³¹ He died circa Dec 1858.³²

Children of Daniel PEARCE and Barbara BARRETT were:
