Hannah ('Lovey' or 'Fannie') BARTLETT, third daughter and third child of Nicholas BARTLETT and Mary MARTIN,^1,2 was born in 1772 in Virginia.³ She married George Washington TEAS in Tennessee.⁴ She died in 1834 in Des Moines County, Iowa.⁵

They moved to Southern Illinois after living in Tennessee for a few years. He preempted land in Madison County, Illinois in 1813, apparently lived there when he entered service in the War of 1812, and died in Schuyler County, Illinois in 1830. She moved to Des Moines County, Iowa, probably after his death.⁶

George Washington TEAS died on 6 Aug 1830 in Schuyler County, Illinois.⁷ He and his oldest son, Joseph Bartlett TEAS, served in Capt. Samuel Judy's and Capt. Samuel Whiteside's mounted militia in the War of 1812, from Madison County, Illinois.⁸

2. i. Joseph Bartlett TEAS^9,10 was born on 4 Jul 1800 in Knox County, Tennessee.¹¹ He married Martha MORGAN in 1822 in Sangamon County, Illinois.¹² He married Mary Ann Brierly circa 1834.¹³ He married Julia Ann EDWARDS circa 1836.¹⁴
3. ii. Jane C. TEAS^15,16 was born circa 1802 in Tennessee.¹⁷ She married John HAMMER on 8 Sep 1829 in Schuyler County, Illinois.¹⁸
4. iii. Charles TEAS^19,20 married Mary MORGAN on 17 Mar 1826 in Sangamon County, Illinois.²¹ He died in 1843 in Texas.²²
5. iv. Mary TEAS^23,24 was born circa 1806 in Tennessee.²⁵ She married Jonathan CLIFTON on 8 Oct 1830 in Schuyler County, Illinois.²⁶ She died in Jun 1842.²⁷
6. v. George Washington TEAS Jr^28,29 was born on 13 Jun 1808 in Sparta, White County, Tennessee.³⁰ He married Sarah S. YOUNGER on 1 Jul 1832 ³¹ and Elizabeth A. BLUE on 20 Sep 1853 in Henry County, Iowa.³² He died circa Jan 1863.³³ He was buried in Washington County, Iowa.³⁴
7. vi. Lucinda TEAS^35,36 married William MOORE on 23 Sep 1836 in Des Moines County, Wisconsin Territory.³⁷ She died on 27 Feb 1838.³⁸

Nicholas Royal TEAS^39,40 was born on 19 Aug 1812 in Madison County, Illinois.⁴¹ He married Charlotte Baker AVERILL, daughter of Philo AVERILL and Rebecca Rice CROPSY, on 7 Mar 1833 in McDonough County, Illinois.⁴² He died on 15 Apr 1896 in Erie, Neosho County, Kansas, at age 83.⁴³ He was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Neosho County, Kansas.⁴⁴He was born in that part of Madison County, Illinois that later became Sangamon County.⁴⁵
9. viii. Esther TEAS^46,47 married James BUCHANAN on 28 Jul 1836 in Des Moines County, Wisconsin Territory.⁴⁸
10. ix. John Wesley TEAS^49,50 was born in 1815 in Illinois.⁵¹ He married Mary MOORE on 3 Sep 1835 in Des Moines County, Wisconsin Territory.⁵² He died in May 1851.⁵³
