Lucy Ann (Garmon) Porter was the daughter of William Henry Garmon and Mariah Louise (Rose) Garmon. She first married Andrew J. Rickett on March 25, 1894. From this union, she had two children, Hemmie Rickett and Andrew J. Rickett. Lucy married second to Richard Elijah Porter before 1907. From this marriage she had three children, William Arnold Porter, Pearline Porter and Pauline Porter.
