According to M.E. Potter:
According to the Owen Genealogy prepared by S.C. Newman in 1857, Ruth Angell and Mary Angell, the wife of Thomas's brother, Joseph, were sisters. It also indicates that Ruth was the daughter of Solomon Angell. However, Carolyn Lubker made a notation that an Angell genealogy by Avery (?) F. Angell, p. 16, states that Ruth was the daughter of John Angell, 2d.
Ruth married Thomas OWEN [3262], son of Josiah OWEN [4854] and Mary ESTANCE [4160]. (Thomas OWEN [3262] was born in Jul 1707 in Gloucester, Providence Co, RI 2 and died on 15 Sep 1798 1.)
