Photos are an important part of
family life and should be preserved. Who among us doesn't have a
mystery photo stashed away.
As an addition to Genie Angels, I have designed a page with
the goal in mind to help you reunite unidentified photos you may
have acquired from flea markets, garage sales, photos passed on
by family, estate sales or antique stores with families.
I have a photo found many years ago in an old book purchased
at a garage sale. Several times I planned to submit it here or
there, but had difficulty finding a site that didn't resell our
ancestor photos. Today seemed the perfect day to help this photo
be united with the family.
All submissions will remain a part of a free genealogy
database of online family photos submitted by visitors, like
you, to help our genealogical community.
All photos found here can be copied to your computer FREE to use for your personal
genealogical research. Right click on the photo and click
"Save Picture As", to save to your computer.
Do you have a photo you would like to share with our
genealogical community?
If so, save it as a jpg (no bmp, tif or gif). Do not send
images larger than 640X480 pixel. If you do not know how
to change the size or file format, try downloading IrfanView, a
great free image viewer and
optimizer to help you. If you still have problems, let me know
and I will try to help. |
