The MOCK FAMILY HISTORIAN was
organized by a group of researchers in 1990. The first issue of
this quarterly newsletter was published in July, 1991, and has
always emphasized the preservation of historical documents
related to all spelling variations, and especially colonial and
pre-civil war records. An attempt is being made by various
researchers to show connections and interrelationships between
many of the early families.
The publication of the MOCK FAMILY HISTORIAN has been discontinued. After 15 years of publication, the final issue was released in January, 2007. Back copies are available, and the surnames
are indexed with the final volume each year. These issues
contain a wealth of information for anyone doing serious
Mock/Mauck research. This publication may be found at the Family
History Library in Salt Lake City, the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN and several other major genealogical libraries in America.
Past issues of the Mock Family Historian will be placed on-line here as PDF files. Below you will find the Index to all issues of the Mock Family Historian. This is a large pdf file over 310 pages long. Following the index are the pdf files of each issue.
