My great-great grandfather was John Maguire who was married to Sarah GRUMLEY/GRIMLEY on some documents. He died in Uxbridge, Massachusetts (train accident) in 1889 at age 58. His grave stone says he was born in County Fermanaugh (approximate date would be 1831). John and Sarah had 2 sons, James and George. James was my great grandfather and he was born in 1859 in Gazzaville (Burillville), Rhode Island. Does anyone have information on John and Sarah.
McGuire researchers: I'm trying to find more information about my great, great grandfather, Joseph MCGUIRE, born July 4, 1826 in Beaver, Pennsylvania, and his parents, Henry J. McGuire, born in 1795, Ireland, died July 1844 in Wayne Co., Ohio, and Elizabeth CAURN, born 1792, also in Ireland, died August 31, 1835, also in Wayne Co. Joseph married Maria MOORE on February 3, 1853 in Salem, Oregon; she was born January 24, 1832 in Canada. He died March 24, 1900 in Hood River, Oregon and Maria died April 27, 1919 in Salem, Oregon. As far as I know, besides Joseph, Henry and Elizabeth had a son, Andrew, born about 1831 in Ohio, as well as an infant born Feb. 13, 18?? (I'm assuming this child was born and died in Ohio, since that's where it's buried.) As far as I know, there weren't any other children born to them. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Diane Kelly

John or William CROWCOMBE emigrated to the USA circa 1895 from Somerset, England. Photograph of one of them, taken by Ball & Son. Eaton Rapids Mich. at this period is in my posession. They would have been great uncles of mine. has any one come across this surname in their research? One of them I believe served in the Police Department some where in Michigan at one time.
