JOSEPH KIRK married SARAH SCOTT. Their children:

  1. Elizabeth Kirk, b. Abt. 1882 married James Carlisle.
  2. Samuel Kirk, b. Abt. 1884 married Margaret.
  3. William Kirk, b. Abt. 1886; d. 1938, Toronto, ON, Canada. He married Minnie Coulter.
  4. MARGARET KIRK, b. April 1888, Ireland; d. April 20, 1927, Mannville, Alberta.
  5. Agnes Kirk, b. Abt. 1890; d. 1952 married Hugh McCandless.
  6. Isabel Kirk, b. Abt. 1893; d. 1919.
  7. Annie Kirk, b. Abt. 1895; d. 1919.
  8. Jane Kirk, b. Abt. 1897; d. 1919.
  9. Matilda Kirk, b. 1899; d. 1934 married Thomas Knox.
  10. Joseph Kirk, b. 1906.
  11. Mary Kirk, b. 1907 married Joe Corry.


MARGARET KIRK was born April 1888 in Ireland, and died April 20, 1927 in Mannville, Alberta.  She married SAMUEL GEORGE MCMINIS Abt. 1908 in Ireland. Their children:

  1. Joseph McMinis was born in 1910 in Ireland and died July 9, 1927 in Mannville, Alberta when he accidentally fell off the horse he was riding, striking his head.
  2. Sarah McMinis was born in 1911 in Ireland. She married Donald Webb.
  3. William McMinis was born about 1913 in Ireland. He married Heidi Weber in 1960.
  4. George McMinis was born in 1915 in Ireland and died in 1989 in Alberta. He married Sarah McCandless about 1945 in Ireland while on leave from the army.
  5. Elizabeth McMinis was born about 1918 in Ireland and died in 1970 in Edmonton, Alberta. She married William Mercer about 1940.
  6. Anne McMinis was born about 1919 in Ireland. She married Bob Wilson.
  7. Margaret McMinis was born about 1921 in Ireland. She married Alex Mollofee.
  8. Martha Agnes McMinis was born in 1925 in Ireland and died June 22, 1951 in Calgary, Alberta in a car/train crash while on her honeymoon. She married Raymond Friedly on June 20, 1951 in Leduc, Alberta.
  9. Charles McMinis was born on April 28, 1926 in Mannville, Alberta.
  10. Baby Girl McMinis was born in April 1927 and died in 1927 in Mannville, Alberta.

This ends the Kirk family line as it is directly connected to the lines I am researching.
