I have a William Hopkins, b. 1744 in Trenton, ME, d.3/5/1813 in Trenton,
ME.  He m. Elizabeth Anderson.  She was b. 1741 in Trenton, ME and d.
3/3/1813 in Trenton, ME.  I descend from their daughter Martha, b. 1773,
d. 1/6/1818.  She m. John McFarland.

I can't get to my paper files at the moment, but I'm not sure if William
had any other wives...  Don't have any info on William's parents.

Let me know if this is anywhere close!

I'm looking for info on the branch of the Hopkins family that ended up in
Lincoln Co., Maine.  Specifically, I'm looking for info on William Hopkins,
who married Mary ?.  He was the son of Solomon Hopkins.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

I am interested in any information on the Hopkins family of Newcastle,
ME in the 1720- period into the early 1800s.

Solomon Hopkins was the progenitor of the family  and settled in what is
now the Newcastle, Me area in the late 1720s. He died there 1761.

Solomon had among other children a son William. William was taken
prisoner during the F&I War and died in captivity ca 1760. William
married Mary, surname unknown. Mary married (2) Hugh Holmes of Newcastle
in the early 1760s.

I am interested in all aspects of the Hopkins family in the 1700s and am
looking any information.

thanks

I am looking for information on a Charles W. Hopkinson.   I believe that the
name was changed to Hopkins.  He was born 9/22/1852 in Gardiner, Kennebec,
ME (I think) and d. 4/23/1933 possibly Maine.  He was married to Isadore
Tibbetts b. 5/17/1857 d. 7/1/1943.  I believe his father was Samuel
Hopkinson but am unsure.  I have several deeds and papers that are original
but no further info.  Would be very grateful for any help and am willing to
share.  Thanks.
