Sylvester b. 5/11/1865 Anna Eliz. b. 6/21/1867 Looking for any info on John 'Pike' Hunsucker, alleged by military records, to have been born c1838 at Jackson, Mississippi. Have thus far found no evidence to support this. One researcher said he is the 'John' in the 1850 Mississippi household of R. McLeod. Anyway, my John Hunsucker found his way to that California gold fields, where he enlisted in the Civil War and was stationed on the Oregon Coast causing all sorts of mischief, and once the War was over, remained in that area, drowning near Newport, OR, c1876.
