Of JAMES GRIFFIN, while in Ireland a farm laborer; he is about 51 years of age; a native of the parish of Lisfoyle, county Kerry; he is a son of John Griffin and Johanna Aherne; he came to this country in 1852, landed in Boston, and then went to Lawrence and after a few months moved to Framingham; in 1855, he was in company with his sister in New Bedford, which was the last time and place she had any communication from him; he then stated that he intended to go to Virginia.
