Rowley Cemetery

He is not buried at the Rowley Cemetery. There is, however, a stone with his name on it and a GAR marker beside it. He died of illness (would have to check the family records to remember what type) and was buried in a mass grave. I do have all the correspondence between his younger brother, my great grandfather Jonathon Judson Wheeler, and the War Department when JJW tried unsuccessfully to locate his brother's grave.
