• SURNAME/Given - the name of the individual. If the name of the individual is highlighted, then an summary of the appropriate will is but a "click" away. Use your browser's "BACK" button to return to this list.

• LOT - if noted in the will

• LOCATION - if noted in the will

• V# - VOLUME number - "LIB" in the original index

• PAGE - page number in the volume

• DATE - in most cases this is the date the will was "proved"

• NOTES - any variant surname spelling

NOTE: A "SUMMARY" includes all names listed in the will with relationships (if given). Names of executors and witnesses are included, as well as the date the will was written. Only a few of the wills listed have been summarized; more will follow.

NOTE: The original index dealt with surnames beginning with MAC and MC in a most efficient way. All MAC/MC names were filed by the "root" name; MacDONALD entries, thus, can be found in the page following the D section, McNALLY entries after the N section. In MY data base, however, I've used M- to signify MAC or MC.
