Our line in the United States started with Robert Hubbard, born in England in about 1602. He came to Jamestown, Virginia in about 1644 with his family. This is the beginning of my attempt to prove that most of the Hubbards who live in VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, KY, MS, IL and MO are related.
The Bond County branch of our family started with Peter Hubbard the 2nd who was born on 7/31/1755 in South Carolina. Peter moved his family to Montgomery County, Tennessee in 1803. His sons Peter, Phillip, David and William moved their families to Bond County. Peter the 3rd and Phillip brought their father to Bond County in 1839.
