I have a theory that Stephen could be the brother of the Johnathon b. 1799 who was in Cherokee Co., AL. about the sametime as Stephen 1850. There were rumors that was passed down by word of mouth that Nancy was Cherokee.....No proof has been found. Would love to find another researcher of this line to swap stories.
