     Petitions are out for a division of Klickitat county and a small part of Skamania County. The portion of the petition as to territory reads as follows: All that portion of the present county of Klickitat, lying west of the range line between ranges 13 and 14, east, and that part of Skamania county lying east of range line between ranges 9 and 10. This would start the east line of the new county a short distance beyond Grand Dalles and thence straight north to Yakima county. That portion of Skamania county to be taken in is the small jog that laps into Klickitat and generally known as the Underwood country.
