     Two important land purchases were made last week when the Northwestern Electric Co. bought the Wieberg ranch of 160 acres, six miles up the White Salmon river, and a river frontage tract of Geo. Felts, in the same locality. These tracts adjoin a valuable power site filed on by the Northwestern Co. last year.
