SUIT BEGUN
Henry Thompson has been notified to answer in condemnation proceedings brought against him by the Northwestern Co. for right-of-way across his farm in the Husum district. The price asked by Mr. Thompson is $3,500. No proceedings have been brought against S.M. Hair. He has been asked if he would give immediate possession if his price be paid in cash, to which he assented. Since then he has heard nothing of them. Chas. Frick, the eccentric German, who left his cabin at The Narrows and disappeared, has been located at Portland, we understand. The Northwestern Co. is still surveying to the north of Husum and taking all the power sites in sight.
