STEAM SHOVELS AT WORK ON NEW RAILROAD

Steam shovels are at work on the roadbed of the new railroad being built into the Glenwood country from Klickitat according to information received here Monday and work is being rushed as fast as possible. The present terminus of the new road is about nine miles from Laurel and Glenwood but it is thought that the road may be extended further west and north later.
