NEW RAILROAD WORK MOVES ON

     The grade of the Northern R.R. is now about one and one quarter miles from the Klickitat station. The steam shovel is moving right along. The location survey, under Engineer Howland, is progressing rapidly and as soon as the work is completed Mr. Bennett will place another steam shovel at work on the other end of the route. The opening of the road will be of incalculable benefit to this section, says the Lyle Washingtonian.
