NEW RAILROAD TO REACH LAUREL COUNTRY JUNE 1

     Laurel, Wash., Nov. 17. - By the first of next June the new railroad, the Klickitat Valley Northern, building up from Klickitat station on the Goldendale branch of the S.P. & S. Ry., will have reached within six miles northeast of Laurel. The ultimate destination of this road is the great timber belt at the base of Mt. Adams. The construction gangs are working all the time, two big steam shovels being employed on the new road bed.
