MARYHILL PARK PROGRAM OUTLINED
Plans for the dedication of the locomotive at Maryhill
Park were outlined by Pete May at the Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday
noon at the Oasis Café. He said Sunset Tours will run a special train
from Portland that day with an expected 300 people on board.
Drivers and cars will be needed to take the tour passengers
interested to Maryhill Museum and Stonehenge following the program and return
them by 3 p.m., departure time of the train's return to Portland.
The county will provide coffee and punch for the picnickers
and it will be served by the Jaycees and Jaycee Wives.
