CO. DIVISION GETS ATTENTION
Chappell Introduces Bill in Senate for New County
There is little developing as to county division. Senator Chapelle has introduced the bill in the senate and the intention is to rush it through, for there appears to be a little opposition in that body. A gentleman who returned from Olympia last week is optimistic over the prospects. Representative Brooks succeeded in having himself appointed chairman of the counties and county boundaries, and as a Democrat has made trades to his advantage. Messrs. Hayes, McClintock and Colburn are still at Olympia in the interests of county division.
