Does anyone know of a John Dille married to Rebecca, having a daughter Mary Salina Dille who married William Dittus ? John and Rebecca also had a son Elbert.  I spoke with a lady named Pam and she is granddaughter of Mary Salina Dille. Mary Salina Dille was born in 1850. Does anyone have this family? I am researching the Pitchers of Illinois.  My great gramps Jacob P. Pitcher seems to have married Rebecca (Ludington)(Dille) prior to 1888.

I am from the Martin Dilley line, born 27 December 1779 and died  26 December 1851, and was married to Hannah Moore, daughter of John Moore and  Margaret (Moore) Moore. His son was John Dilley married to Naomi McNeil.  They  lived in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Their son was Wilson Washington  Dilley married to Lucy A. Ray and they lived in Greenbrier County, West  Virginia. I am their granddaughter and I live in Virginia. Lucy and Wilson  have 150 descendants, but none of us have the sur name of Dilley.

Researching Ephraim DILLEY and descendents of New Jersey. He was a soldier of the American Revolution who left his birth state to settle in Fayette Co., PA by 1800. Ephraim DILLEY then moved in 1814 to Guernsey Co., OH where he and his wife, Lucy Uiss AYERS spent their remaining days.

Sarah Emily married Thomas F. Mahan b.1840 ( Elkton Md.) Their Children : Robert, Fredrick 1872, Albert Parker 1869, Roy Finley 1875, Mary Florence 1879, William Forrest, Cassius Franklin, Howard Glenn.
Sarah Emily died around 1895. My grandmother was about 16 at the time and took over the care of the "men", all except for Howard who was an infant or at least young enough that an aunt took care of him.
