Starting in Late 2002, Rex Redmon started producing "Silver Threads" -- formerly "Silver Notes II Online" -- an electronic evolution of the original newsletter. In December 2004, Rex gave up control to Silver historian James (John) Silver. John served as editor and researcher for three and a half years,
until his passing in June 2008. At that time, the newsletter was
suspended to provide time to organize John's research and find a
successor. Now, Clarence "Til" Tillery has stepped up to be the temporary editor until a permanent replacement is found. Issues will appear on an irregular basis. Please continue to send in stories,
photos, vital statistics, and other
articles for publication. And please continue to print out and
mail hardcopy version to those family members who are not yet on the
Internet. |
