In the cemetery extracts for Platte County
is the listing for:
Yan FURMANSKI 9 Grud 1910, St. Michael's Cemetery,
Tarnov, Nebraska.
The date of death translates to 9 Dec 1910. My Aunt confirmed that this
is my Uncle Felix's father. Felix would have been about 3 1/2 years old
at the time of his father's death. John worked for the railroad at that
time. He was accidentally hit by a train while working. His leg was
completely severed and he bled to death.

Mary
Moritz Foreman Weiss In an email
earlier this year (2000) from my cousin, she wrote about her
grandmother: "My grandmother was widowed when my dad was quite young
and then married John Weiss, a widower. Mr. Weiss had two or three
children. He and my grandmother had Sally and George. Sally passed away
many years ago of cancer--probably in the 50's. Actually, she died
within months of my grandmother. She married Dan Capazo. George passed
away a year ago."
