"Lucy S. Locke
Died March 7, 1986
Lucy S. Locke, 94 of Parkersburg, died Friday afternoon in Worthington Manor Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Ripley, daughter of the late M. L. and Mary Frances Board Smith. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Richard D. Locke of Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Margaret Ann Bowles of South Charleston; one nephew whom she raised, Charles E. McGinnis, of Pittsburgh, Pa; a niece, Mrs. Peggy Julian of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; and two geat grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George T. Locke in 1966.
Services were held at 11:00 am Monday at the Vaughan Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with the Rev. Hollie Thompson officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery."²¹²
