The Stillwell database analysis is done with the Ged4Web program. Ged4Web has four main displays: Family Pages, Pedigree Pages, Notes Pages, and Descendancy Pages.

The Family Pages are most central and basic. They show the family and also links to the Pedigrees and the Notes. A Family Page gives the person's name, birth date and place, death date and place, and gender. In addition, the person's parents, spouse, spouse's parents, and children are shown. There are links to each of those family members.

The Pedigree Pages are in chart form, with the person you asked for always showing at the top of the screen. Seeing the full pedigree chart requires some screen manipulations. Clicking the red arrow beside a person's name leads to earlier generations. Clicking on a person's name goes to that person's Family Page.

The Notes Pages show just that--my notes on the person selected. They may be reached from the main menu or from the Family Page by clicking on the Notes icon (a page with a paper clip on it). Clicking on the person's name goes to the Family Page.

The Descendancy Pages show the selected person's descendants in outline form. The generations are color coded. For each individual the gender, birth date and place, death date and place, and if appropriate their marriage date and place are given. As elsewhere, a click on a person's name goes to that person's Family Page. Living persons have some of the personal information omitted to protect privacy. Family members can contact us personally for more information.

Links back to the Index Page are frequent. Just keep going up or down on the screen and you will come to an entry marker.
