Philip Wood – is almost certainly related to the James Wood – Rachel Gilliam family – but how?

There appears to be a 2^nd, older Philip who lived on the St. Mary – Charles Co line, but closer to Calvert Co than the 10 children of James and Rachel.
Another Wood who lived near the 2^nd, older Philip, was William Wood.
