New information: there is a Revenue Stamp on the back of this photo which limits the time it was taken to 1 Aug 1864 to 1 Aug 1866 because the stamps were affixed to the photos during that time to help in paying for the War. John Vantine died in 1860 so this can't be John Vantine.

Unlabeled daguerreotype which is probably a little late to be Frances Phillips Vantine with Harriet (Hetty) -left (b. 25 Apr 1820), Ellen Maria -right (b. 9 June 1822), and Catharine Elizabeth - on lap (b. 4 Aug 1824),

but may be Ann Elizabeth Cobb Van Tine with Frances Louise -(b. 24 Mar 1845), Alice Ardel -right (b. 11 Jan 1852), and Ellen Mary on lap (b. 28 Oct 1853).
